Thereafter, on motion of Mr. Ricardo Sandalo seconded by Mr. Joey Fullon, the CRM Plan being reviewed was fully adopted by the Board as a working guide or framework of the CRM Board for the next five years. CRM Plan is expected to be distributed on the next board meeting for finality and be ready for submission purposely for the adoption of the Sangguniang Bayan of Mabini, Batangas.

e) Updates on the On-going Activities re: management of Marine Sanctuaries

In this agenda, Ms. Jinki Makalintal of CCEF reported the following as to the on-going activities for marine sanctuaries:

  • Suggested that instead of hiring additional Bantay Dagat members increase salary of the selected seven (7)


IV. Other Matters:
  • Status of ADBA forming into multi-purpose cooperative

    For ADBA, Mr. Simplicio Isla as the elected Chairman reported on the on-going registration of their cooperative with Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) thru the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), Batangas. However, he informed also the board that they have already engaged to business by way of selling gasoline to its members.


  • Mr. Sandalo clarified to the board the implementation of penalties as experienced (Tingloy) but the board decided to implement stipulations of Ordinance 03-2002 (Conservation Fee Ordinance)


  • The board agreed to have a special board meeting for the approval of the proposed budget and a Christmas Party of the Bantay Dagat.
